By using GuidePal, you agree to these terms. They keep the service useful and safe for everyone.
Your account
You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to use GuidePal.
Your content
You keep ownership of reviews and photos you post. By posting, you grant GuidePal a non-exclusive license to display that content within the service according to your privacy setting. Don't post content you don't have the right to share.
Acceptable use
- No spam, harassment, hate speech, or illegal content.
- No fake, paid, or misleading reviews.
- No scraping, reverse engineering, or abusing the API or maps.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Reviews reported by several users are held for moderation.
Third-party content
Place details, photos, events, and maps come from third parties (Google, Ticketmaster, OpenStreetMap). We don't guarantee that hours, prices, or availability are always accurate, confirm details before you go.
Disclaimer & liability
GuidePal is provided "as is," without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll revise the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
