Why we built it

Trip planning usually means a dozen open tabs: one map, one reviews site, one for events, another for opening hours. GuidePal pulls landmarks, food, the outdoors, theme parks, and live events into a single map-first view, with open-now status and local times already worked out.

How it works

• Browse by city or state, or search any place by name.
• Filter by category, price, distance, and what's open right now.
• Save favorites, build trip lists, and follow friends to see their picks.
• Read and write reviews, with privacy controls you actually control.

Where our data comes from

Place details and photos come from Google Places; live events come from Ticketmaster; maps are rendered from OpenStreetMap. Reviews and ratings are written by GuidePal members.
